The game features 24 levels that take place in locations such as Retroville, a meteor field, and the Yokian Empire. Perhaps the strongest part of the game is its multiplayer mode, which supports up to four players via link cable. In this mode, players compete to collect the most coins while slowing the opposition with goo darts. p The single-player game incorporates basic platform elements. Players spend most of the time running, jumping, and collecting objects. It's hardly innovative, but it works for a younger audience. The four racing levels also add some variety. Extremely young gamers may need an adult handy to deal with the game's heavy text and poor save system; the latter uses long passwords to track a player's progress. All in all, this is a good game for fans of the series. It features strong graphics and plenty of the film's flavor.
